| General Description |
|
A8102 is a low cost 2.4GHz ISM audio SoC. It integrates high speed pipeline 8051 MCU, 32KBytes In-system programmable flash memory, 256B internal SRAM, 512B external SRAM, 8KB MAC SRAM, USB 2.0 compatible controller and various powerful functions. In audio function, it supports ADPCM codec, and integrates stereo16 bits CDDEC with 48K sample rate, IIR filter, digital mixer, DMA unit, high speed MAC and piano tone generator. A8102 supports fast PLL settling time for frequency hopping system. For packet handling, A8102 has built-in QoS MAC (including 8K bytes data SRAM), auto-ack and auto-resend, CRC for error packet filtering, RSSI for clear channel assessment, thermal sensor to monitor relative temperature, WOR (Wake on RX) function to support periodically wake up from sleep mode to RX mode and listen for incoming packets without MCU interaction, data whitening for data encryption / decryption. Those functions are very easy to use while developing a wireless system. All features are integrated in a small QFN 7x7 56 pins package. |
